The International Journal of Materials Research offers authors the opportunity to present their articles to the general public in a freely accessible manner. If you are interested in contributing, please contact dregger@hanser.de. Author Instructions and Editorial Manager All articles will be published in English language. The citation of the journal is: Int. J. Mat. Res. (formerly Z. Metallkd.) The submission, reviewing and editing will be handled by the Editorial Manager system. Editorial Manager is an online submission and review system. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Of course, the volume-numbering of the journal will be contiguous with the numbers of Zeitschrift für Metallkunde: in 2006 it will be Vol. 97.
